Open Books empowers and validates children through access to uplifting, inclusive stories that demonstrate the full spectrum of sexuality and gender identity.<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n


We are passionate about providing access to stories that represent people all across the sexuality and gender spectrum so that kids can feel more seen and heard and SUPPORTED early on in their development. We believe that making story books available to children in our school libraries will help minimize bullying and foster a better learning environment. Its a big beautiful world out there. Let\u2019s connect with each other. We are in in this life together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many public schools are tasked with executing\u00a0 support plans for LGBTQ+ youth. In California for example, The Fair Education Act of 2010 requires that schools provide educational materials that include representation of cultural, racial, gender and sexual diversity. Open Books is supporting school administrators, faculty, families\u00a0and<\/em>\u00a0the individual student with this initiative. 100% of your donation goes to purchasing books.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
